Human Rights Act 1998

In 2016 Chris Heaton Harris voted in favour of repealing the Human Rights Act 1998; against plans to save the steel industry including fast-tracking infrastructure projects requiring large amounts of steel; and against a principle of the Government not borrowing to fund day-to-day spending. With the ongoing story about the old lady removed illegally by PSNI from her social housing property in Portadown, a Loyalist stronghold, she has investigated further and found that the PSNI Ombudsman was in collusion with PSNI.  They refuse to investigate PSNI or any of its officers, and say that the incident never happened.  This is after two years of investigations.  One wonders what exactly they were doing then.  They did, however, reprimand an Officer for stealing a vulnerable person's bicycle.

The Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman was also complicit, as he refused to investigate Radius Housing Association, as did the Charities Commission of Northern Ireland.

All of this costing an estimated £500,000, and Mr. Heaton Harris sits on the sidelines and watches while this journalist removes Radius Housing Association from any kind of register.. one can only hope.
